If you are ever injured or become ill because of your job, we’re here to give you the care and support you’re entitled to under Ontario’s workplace safety and insurance system (WSIB). That includes benefits, as well as other support, such as return to work assistance.
In addition to loss of earnings benefits, WSIB benefits pay for a number of costs related to workplace injury and illness, including:
Medical devices and orthotics
Transportation costs associated with work-related injury or illness
In most cases, we pay the health care provider directly.
The Muscle And Joint Clinic has been a leader in delivering high quality evidence based care to workers across Ontario for well over 10 years. Our unrelenting pursuit to deliver the right care always, has led us to innovate and provide unique programs and services that provide workers with answers they need, care they require and enables workers to return to work and life.
In Ontario, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) offers optional insurance for those who are not automatically covered by law for their injuries. Therefore, if you become injured while at work and your physician prescribes Chiropractic Care and Physiotherapy as part of your treatment, it should be covered by the WSIB.
That said, the papers to file and forms to complete can be extremely overwhelming. We at the Mississauga Muscle and Joint Clinic are here to help. We will fill out all of the necessary paperwork and submit it for you. If the forms cannot be submitted electronically, then our staff will ensure you have all of the documentation you will need to file a claim on your own. If you need help in filing those claims, please just ask. At the Mississauga Muscle and Joint Clinic, we want your therapy experience to be a pain-free as possible, both in treatment and in receiving payment.
