Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Bars are a delightful and easy-to-make snack, perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth while boosting your protein intake. Here’s how you can make these delicious bars at home:
Ingredients:
3/4 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon coconut oil
Instructions:
Prep the Pan: Line an 8 1/2×4 1/2-inch loaf pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on all sides to make it easy to remove the bars later. Set the pan aside.
Mix the Base: In a bowl, combine the peanut butter, protein powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until well combined. Press this mixture firmly into the prepared loaf pan and set aside.
Make the Topping: Place the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds, then stir. Continue microwaving in 30-second intervals, stirring each time, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
Assemble the Bars: Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter mixture in the loaf pan, smoothing it out to cover evenly.
Chill and Serve: Refrigerate until the chocolate is set, about 30 minutes. Once set, lift the parchment paper to remove the bars from the pan. Cut into 8 bars and enjoy!
