It’s quite a change. As you can see, the old food guide was recommending foods like orange juice, milk,andwhite grains. The new phone guide encourages eating plenty of vegetables, wholegrains, andprotein foods, especially plant-basedprotein. It is a great step forward for Canadians, as many schoolsand health care facilities follow the guidelines, which should result in healthier lives and reduced waistlines.
