Personal Training Now Available!

We are pleased to announce the addition of Anita Purohit, a Certified Personal Trainer to our health team. Exercise is paramount to optimal health, and for the prevention of muscle and joint pain conditions. We believe offering personal training will allow patients to recover faster and help develop health skills that will result in long lasting health benefits.

Hi, my name is Anita. I am a true fitness enthusiast and Certified Personal Trainer specializing in both strength and metabolic conditioning.
I obtained my bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Western Ontario. After several years of working in this field I became a registered Professional Engineer in Ontario (P.Eng). I have spent 15 years working in both corporate and start-up industries in various roles such as Product Management and Business Development.  
Traditionally considered successful in the corporate world I felt there was something missing. I realized there was a serious lack of balance and focus in my life between mental and physical performance. This is when I began my own pursuit of optimal physical fitness about ten years ago. 
After seeing the benefits to my overall health I realized that I want to do what I love and work with others to achieve physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle. Through formal education I became Certified as a Personal Trainer. 
True fitness enthusiasts can attest to the fact that training is more than just going to the gym. Training develops your physical ability to help you excel and endure. In addition, it tests your mental fortitude and is an excellent stress management tool. My goal is to help clients achieve this and I approach fitness holistically.
I enjoy training all levels of physical performance and work with clientele of all fitness and experience levels. 
My personal commitment to physical fitness never ends, as there are always new strength and endurance goals to achieve. Fitness is not a destination, but a rather an exciting adventure filled with challenges and thrills. 
I look forward to working with you to understand your goals. I will develop a customized program and work closely with you to make your ambitions a reality!
